We are needing customers input on a possible product we have come up with. This is a handicap lift modified to fit a Polaris Slingshot. Owner of Baker Built Bruce Baker modified this lift so that his wife could go riding once again. Barb Baker had a stroke and was limited to a wheelchair before she passed away this fall. Bruce purchased the Slingshot because of its bucket seats being side by side allowing him to take Barb out for rides again. Because of her limited mobility it would be difficult to get her in and out of the Slingshot, Bruce adapted a medical lift to fit onto the back of the Slingshot along with a wheelchair rack. This allowed Bruce to sit Barb into the seats much easier and safer on her body. Our question for the customers is would this be something we should market or forget about? With these becoming more and more popular we have put our focus into developing product the Slingshot owners would enjoy. One unique feature with our Rack is the driver side is built to pivot with a hinge system to allow easy access to the fuel cap. We have had several requests about building a corner wing for the Polaris Slingshot. We have heard several complaints about there being a wind tunnel coming through the corner of the windshield causing extreme buffeting. Well we have developed a solution to this issue. Be sure to keep checking our website for the new Slingshot Corner Wings. These clamp onto the corners of the windshield and are adjustable to deflect and direct the air in and away eliminating the wind tunnel affect. These are simple and easy to install and require absolutely no drilling. We will be featuring these on our website as soon as we get a supply of these finished in production. New from Baker Built Polaris Slingshot Windshield and Side Wings

Our newest item from Baker Built is our Polaris Slingshot Windshield Wings and the Polaris Slingshot Side Wings for the slingshots with a top. We heard that the cockpit of the slingshot was absolutely burning hot from the engine heat and lack of air movement. We wanted to come up with an item that the customers would love. We finally came up with our Windshield Wings. A simple quick easy design to bring air into the cockpit when needed and can be closed to deflect the air away when cold and rainy. The Windshield Wings have an aluminum powder coated clamp using set screws clamps onto the existing windshield on both passenger and driver side allowing you to mount and remove with no troubles at all. This design is mainly because we know just how hard it is to “drill” into your beloved bike and we too understand this. So with these clamps you just clamp on/off leaving no marks. These are easily adjusted so that you can turn the wings in towards or away from rider and co-rider so that you can bring more air in or deflect the air and rain away. Then we noticed people started having roofs/tops mounted onto their Slingshots and then heard they was even hotter than before. Now because of the bar to the roof our Windshield Wings no longer would work or fit. So we did some designing and came out with the Polaris Slingshot Side Wings for the roof/top. These are limited to the most common roofs that we see out in the market Twist Dynamics. These Side Wings clamp onto the side post of the roof again requires absolutely no drilling making it easy to take the wings on and off. Also again these are easily adjusted so that you can direct/deflect the air in and away from rider and passenger. In 1983 we designed and developed the very first adjustable air deflectors ever made. These were originally designed for the Honda Goldwings and have now been designed for many other motorcycle models but are most famous on the Honda Goldwing. Our number one seller is still the GL1800 Honda Goldwing Air Wings w/ Lowers. The Air Wing and Lower adjust separately to allow the complete control of the air flow that the rider and co-rider receive.
